Purrfect Christmas

Hello everyone :)

Today I wanted to show You a card with Newton and lots of glitter ;)

To create this card i used Newton's Curious Christmas Stamp Set from Newton's Nook Design and snowflakes die from Cheery Lynn Design. I stamped this cute kitty with snowman on white cardstock and masked it with masking paper. Stamped my sentiment and few small snowflakes with VersaMark Ink and embossed with clear powder. Then used Distress Inks to create my background. When it dried, I removed the masking and colored my stamp with copics.

Later, I die cut from my background 3 snowflaes and saved them for another project. I added silver glitter cardstock under and glued everything together on my card base. A bit of wink of stella and glossy accent and card was done :)

I would like to participate in the:

And that's my card for today, thank You for reading and wish You all amazing weekend! <3

Chrismas with Tiddly Inks :)

Hello everyone :)

Today I would like to share with You my first attempt in coloring characters.

I had no idea before how hard it is to color hair, so my first tries were far from perfect. Need to watch some more tutorials how to :)

Anyway I decided to show You how it went. Both of today's cards were made using these amazing digital stamps from Tiddly Inks. I had a hard time finding stamps with characters I really like. But when I found Tiddly Inks I just fell in love with these.

So here are my cards.

On the first card I used Santa's Helper stamp, colored it with Copics, added some pattern paper from Lawn Fawn and Kesi'Art.  My sentiment is in polish and means "Magical Christmas"

On my second card I used Winter Wryn stamp also from Tiddly Inks. And again pattern paper from Lawn fawn and UKH Gallery. Sentiment on this one means "Happy Holidays". Of course Wink of stella and glossy accent finish for both :)

And that's it for today. Thank You for reading and wish You all great day <3

Meowy Christmas :)

Hello, I hope You are enjoying your weekend :)
I made one more Holiday card using my favorite Newton's Nook Designs stamps.

Details about the card:
First I stamped this cute image using Newton's Curious Christmas Stamp Set. I just love this kitty sitting on the roof! Then I randomly stamped some stars with VersaMark ink from the same stamp set and embossed it with clear powder, masked kitty and moon, and started making the night sky using Distress Inks. Used a bit of water on it to make a look of soft falling snow and left it to dry. After it dried, I removed mask and started to color kitty, moon and roof using my Copics markers.

I glued some dark red shiny paper on my card base, then my image with Newton and at the end added 2 strips of white glitter paper. Stamped greetings from Newton's Holiday Mischief Stamp Set, My first idea was to make it white but I didn't want my sentiment to be so visible, so I decided to stamp it in black and emboss with clear embossing powder.  At the very end, I decided to add some snowflakes cut from same white glitter paper and card was done :)

I would like to participate in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.
My Lawn Fawn goodies are still on the way, but i thought I will share card with Newton for this challenge, because I just love Anything Goes challenges and had so much fun creating this card.

Thank You for reading and have a great day! :)

Some snowflakes :)

Hello :)

It's been a while since my last post and all that because my kitty was very, very sick.
His surgery, constant care for him, visits to vet and praying he will get better made me forget about making cards for some time. Now that Jasper is getting better, can walk and eat by himself, I can finally come back to my favorite way of spending time. :)

So let's start from something easy! Holiday Cards Season just started but most of my Christmas supplies are still on the way so here are some snowflakes and quick cards for today :)
Oh and "Wesołych Świąt" means "Merry Christmas" in polish, and because many of my cards will stay in Poland, I'm gonna mix english greetings with polish ones on different cards.

My first card for today is very simple to make, 2 colors of paper, Stitched Hillside Borders die by Lawn Fawn, and this cute snowflakes die by Cheery Lynn Design. Added Chipboard with polish greeting, ribbon, few embellishments and card done! :) Easy for new start!

Second card is also not hard to make. I thought that using some chipboards/wooden die cuts is a good idea when i don't have many Christmas dies and other supplies. I found CraftyMoly ones as one of the cutest! Again all I needed is 2 colors of papers, ribbon, few embellishments and circle die. :)

So that's it for today and hope You all have a great weekend!

Have a Purr-fect Day! :)

Hello,

Today I want to show You my first attempt on shaker card. I had so much fun making it but it got quite messy - sequins were everywhere, somewhow even got some in my hair :D
I wanted to make a card for any day which is quick and easy to make. Here is how it turned out.

Details about card.
I made a base for my card from light pink cardstock then cut panel from white cardstock. Using my Newton's Antics stamp set, I stamped randomly many times super cute paw, mouse, baseball, wool ball and fish bone with versamark ink. Embossed it with clear super fine powder to create a watermark effect. I left some space for the message, it's perfect for everyday cards :) I chose some delicate colors of sequins to fill my shaker window.

After I put everything together, I colored the cute kitty from the same stamp set with copics, added some twine and sequins on the front of the panel, put kitty in place. Decided to die cut some pink hearts, add to my card with glossy accents and card was done :)
Really easy and quick.

I would like to participate in 'Love This Technique' Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge :)

Thank You all for visiting, have a great weekend!

Miss You card.

Hello,
It's been some time since my last post. Here in Poland, September is a month when we prepare for winter so I spent a lot of time in the kitchen with my mom making jams and compotes :)
But now everything is done and time to make cards :)

I decided to make a 'Miss You' card for someone very important to me. We didn't see each other for a long time and I wanted to make something special. I had a different image in my head but it wasn't as easy to make as I thought.
I wanted to use these mega cute pandas from 'My Favorite Things', but I wanted to change the happy pandas to sad ones. Cuz honestly, when I think of it, missing someone is not a happy feeling at all. Especially if You miss someone a lot and time is passing. And that's what I wanted to show with this card. So here's how it turned out.

Details about the card:
I took some watercolor paper, chosing the more textured side, die cut 4 rectangles with MFT stitched rectangle die set, and stamped 1 panda from Happy Pandas stamp set on each piece. Masked pandas faces to make them sad, maybe even a bit too sad? Had mixed feelings about it. Stamped my bamboo from the same stamp set twice on each rectangle and added some leaves to show the season change. Not like real bamboo is like that but this is my bamboo so can be like that right? :D  Embossed everything with clear powder to make it resist my coloring later. I tried to color every rectangle to fit with the others, but still keeping colors of different seasons. Used distress inks to color everything. After it dried, added some black cardstock to make my picture pop a bit. My card is bigger than usual ones but I think it's ok like this.

At the end I added the message from the same stamp set and some red heart with glossy accent. I decided to put "Miss You" at the middle because it's very important for my card. Some small detalies with copics for cute pandas and card was done.

Well, this card doesn't look exactly how I wanted, or rather how I imagined it and I was close to dumping it like 30 times I think :D But after all I kept going till it was done.

I thought I would parcitipate in My Favorite Things superstar challenge since I used only MFT supplies. I don't think it's a contest for newbies like me but I have nothing to lose :)

Thank u for reading, and have a faboulus day <3

My first card.

Hello.

I would like to share what I've created today. I got most of my supplies delivered already and decided to make a card for someone very special for me.
My supplies are very limited, but I guess it's the same for every beginner. I had so much fun trying out some techniques I saw in cardmaking tutorials ^_^

I had the whole idea of the card in my head when I saw the sketch challenge on Newton's Nook Design blog. There were some things when I was choosing my first supplies that became my Must Have. And at least one stamp set from
Newton's Nook was on my list, I totally love this cat. And there we go, it came to me and I just had to use this.
I would like to participate in Inky Paws Challenge #24.

I changed a bit the sketch, but in my opinion it fits :)

Details about making this card.
I started by coloring my watercolor paper with distress inks to make the night sky. Then stamped 2 cats from 'Newton's Antics' set  and colored them with Copics. After that was done I fussy cut cat's and used black brush marker to hide white edges. I wanted my cats to sit on a tree but I didn't have any die to stamp, so I drew it very gently on watercolor paper.. When I was happy with the outlines, I colored it with distress inks and when it was completely dry, fussy cut it. To make it fit the cats more I used the same black brush marker to make color edges. On a small branch, I stamped 'loves mew' from the same stamp set and embossed it.

To finish my card I glued some stars on my night sky, die cut small hearts (btw. my fist die cut, I was so amazed by the results, it's like getting free cookie :D) and put them on card with foam tape to be on the same height as the tree. Added some wink of stella and glossy accent to make it shine. Also added some wink of stella on the noses and ears of my cats. At the very end I decided I want to add some leaves, so just colored with distress inks tiny bits of paper and die cut very few to give it upcoming autumn look.

Sorry, this post turned to be very long, will try to make new ones shorter.
Thank You for reading, any tips and opinions on what I could have done better are very welcome.
Have a great day.
